Uniqom was founded in 1995 and today is one of the leaders of the Russian automotive market. The company's branch network provides quality products and convenient services to customers throughout the territory of the Russian Federation. Uniqom is developing its brand portfolio in the following main categories: automotive parts, automotive chemicals and accessories. Company's business model is based on direct cooperation with large, internationally recognized manufacturers. 

A distinctive feature of our company is portfolio of exclusive brands. A number of manufacturers have entrusted us to exclusively promote and distribute their brands in the territory of the Russian Federation and CIS countries. As a result of many years of cooperation, these brands have taken the leading positions in the Russian market, and for most of these partners Uniqom is now the largest foreign aftermarket client. 

Since 2017 Uniqom is a member of Nexus Automotive International, a global alliance of the aftermarket leaders.

History

Uniqom is a company with unique history, valuable experience and a reliable team that constantly works on developing partnerships with customers and suppliers of the company.

1995

Foundation of the company. Uniqom launched supplies of Korean car accessories. The main driver of the company's growth is consistent expansion of the assortment and introduction of new products that were not presented on the market.

1996

We have started developing distribution of car care products and chemicals of various brands manufactured in South Korea and the USA. From the beginning Uniqom focused on long-term partnerships with manufacturers. This allowed us to effectively promote and expand the distribution of the suppliers' brands in the Russian market.

1997-1998

Launching Japanese car care products, chemicals and accessories. Uniqom was one of the first distributors in Russia to make contracts with Japanese manufacturers of automotive products. The company took the first step in building a regional network: a branch in Khabarovsk has opened. As the number of customers started to expand, we decided to prioritize trading directly with them, opening a direct sales department.

1999

The company implemented an anticrisis strategy to resist the collapse in the financial market. Uniqom optimized purchases and adopted the principle of direct supply from the manufacturers. The company was able to stabilize the operations, did not lose any employees and maintained relations with all customers and suppliers.

2000-2001

The company started distribution of automotive parts and concluded the first contracts with the parts manufacturers from Japan. In subsequent years, the brand portfolio was expanding intensively. Spare parts of the highest quality started to be supplied from the largest and most trusted manufacturers. Following our strategy, we continued developing partnerships with a number of suppliers based on the exclusive distribution agreements.

2002 - 2007

Development of the regional distribution network and dynamic growth. The expansion of the brand portfolio entails the growth of the company and its entry into new regional markets. Further development of Uniqom is based on the principle of "being closer to the client". Branches have been opened in Novosibirsk, Moscow, Irkutsk, Yekaterinburg and Krasnoyarsk. The company actively promotes suppliers' brands, conducts technical seminars, participates in regional exhibitions, and since 2005 - annually in Moscow International Motor Show. Uniqom has grown from 25 to 200 employees.

2008

The construction of a Distribution Center in Vladivostok with an area of 3,800 sq.m. is completed.  The company allocates significant resources to logistics with a view to increase efficiency of Manufacturer-to-Customer supply chain.

2010 - 2014

Uniqom was actively expanding the regional network. The company enhanced distribution structure by creating Divisional Offices and Distribution Centers in Moscow and Novosibirsk. Branches and representative offices were opened in Krasnodar, St. Petersburg, Chelyabinsk, Barnaul, Omsk, Kemerovo, Tomsk, Novokuznetsk, Abakan and Blagoveshchensk. The brand portfolio continued to develop; the company launched assortment for European cars. Sales to CIS countries started. Number of employees had grown to 400 people.

2015 - 2016

Uniqom celebrates its 20th anniversary. The strategic priority of our subsequent development is to further increase quality of customer services. To better serve the clients sales teams were reorganized by customer segments. The company continues its sustainable growth, increasing the operational efficiency every year.

2017

Since January 1, 2017 the company joined Nexus Automotive International SA, the global alliance of automotive aftermarket leaders. Uniqom is a founding partner of Nexus Automotive Russia.

2018

The Federal Distribution Center in Vladivostok was officially launched. The facility is class A warehouse with area of more than 20,000 sq.m. The efficient automation technologies including the conveyor system and modern WMS have been implemented in the distribution center. The new warehouse allowed the company to increase the speed of cargo handling and improve logistics services for our customers. The project was granted the status of a resident of the Free Port of Vladivostok. HQ was moved to the new facility.

2019 - 2020

Automation of the key business processes in sales and logistics have been completed. Mobile-CRM, WMS and TMS systems were implemented in all company’s locations. The company’s online selling platform has been rebuilt to increase speed and convenience of placing orders. The company celebrated its 25th anniversary. Company remains its focus on customer-centric approach and continues expansion of logistics network opening warehouses in Nakhodka, Barnaul, Blagoveshchensk, Abakan, Omsk and Chita.
